I have started taking a night class at Glasgow city college to learn how to be able to screen print. The course is 10 weeks long and allows for creative freedom to print whatever you want.
This is my attempt at printing some of my personal items. I used the necklaces, Rings, earrings and clips.
I learned how to set up an image in photoshop so its ready to print onto tracing paper.
This is the image that has been edited in photoshop to be halftone (made up of spots) printed on tracing paper ready to be burned onto the screen.

This week we learned about creating an image straight onto the screen these are may notes from the demonstration (on the left). This week I also learned what to do if the liquid drips when prepping the screen to fix this I had to scrape off the excess liquid and let the screen dry longer so that when power washing the liquid didn't run and ruin the stencil.
